Ages: toddler -3 years
January 24 – April 24, Wednesdays, 9:00-9:30 AM
6 weeks $113 before March 3
This class will be an exciting exploration of the animals in our lives, both as house pets and around the farm! Selections include well-loved classics such as Old MacDonald, and The Farmer in the Dell, along with new songs that are sure to be a hit, such as I See You, and Macaroni. Toddlers will get to listen to different animal voices and expand their musical and physical abilities, all while having a wonderful time in the group. The possibilities for growth are endless, and oh-so-beneficial for your children!
The family kit includes a colorful book with music and poems as well as an accompanying CD or digital download of beautiful music you will learn in the class.
We are offering a 6 or 12-week option for this class. 6-week class: Jan 24 – March 6, no class on Feb 21. 6-week class: March 13- April 24, no class on April 3. 12-week class Jan 24 – April 24, no class on Feb 21 & April 3.

Preschoolers will explore the exciting world around them through music! Children will get to listen to different sounds and expand their musical and physical abilities through singing, playing age-appropriate instruments, movement, poetry, and active listening. All activities are purposeful and carefully address the development of the whole child. The musical examples are beautifully arranged for the enjoyment of children and parents alike.

Come learn the Ukulele with our Hawaiian instructor, Jacob Kenyon! The group setting for 6-10 year olds is a delightful way to learn this instrument. Students will learn to play various styles of music both individually and as a group. Students will have opportunities to perform as a group around Sandpoint in an informal setting to build their confidence and performing skills, and to have fun! Students must provide their own instrument, please contact us for guidance on purchasing a quality Ukulele.
No class on Feb 19 & April 1.

Ages: 8 -12 years old
Feb 6 – Mar 26, Tuesdays, 5:30-6:30
In this course, we will explore a variety of percussion instruments to get a hands-on feel of what it means to be a drummer. We will learn how to develop good timing, rhythm, and of course, have fun! You will be able to read music to visually understand how the drums are being played in patterns. You will have a well-rounded understanding of drumming styles and the basics you need to keep a beat to the songs you love!
Students will need to provide their own bell kit. Contact the studio for details on where to rent or purchase.

Ages 5-6 years
September 12 – May 21 , Tuesdays, 4:15-5:15 PM

This group class is held for the whole school year and is designed to help students build their musical language and skills while also setting a good foundation on the piano. Students will learn through movement, listening, playing various instruments, and of course, playing the piano. This class is best suited for children ages 5-6 who want to build a good musical foundation and learn to play the piano.
No class Nov 21, Dec 26, Jan 2, Feb 20th, Apr 2.
